Retro Car Rental
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”rs_carrental is a NPC-based vehicle rental system for FiveM with a React NUI interface.
Players interact with NPCs placed at configurable locations to rent vehicles by category, pay with cash/bank/crypto, and manage active rentals through a dashboard. A VIP tier unlocks exclusive categories and discounted rates.
Rentals are time-limited. Early returns give partial refunds, overdue rentals accumulate fees, and the server runs a 60-second expiry check loop in the background. Vehicle status (fuel, engine, brakes) is polled live and reflected in the UI.
The resource auto-detects QBCore, QBox, and ESX. Target system detection covers ox_target, qb-target, qtarget, with an E-key proximity fallback.
Requires ox_lib and oxmysql.
