Update Your Asset

As Retro Store, we do our best to provide you with detailed information about resource updates. When a new update is released, you can find out about it in 4 different places.

Server Console, Our Discord Server, CFX.re Portal, Tebex Product Tab

1. Check the change log on the Tebex product page to see if there is a new update available for your purchased resource.

2. To be able to revert to any previous state or access your config files, first back up the version you are using.

3. Download the updated resource.

   Caution

   If the update does not appear on the CFX.re Portal, you may need to wait a little while.

4. After downloading the .zip file from the CFX.re Portal, unzip it and place the folder inside it into the resources folder. (This applies to all completely renewed resources. We usually specify the files that change in updates, you only need to change those)

   Caution

   There may be differences in the installation section for different resources such as Vehicle, Map, Ped, and Script. If a different path needs to be followed during installation, this detail is specified in the relevant resource documentation, accessible via the sidebar.

5. Fully restart your FiveM server or restart resource to ensure the updated resource is loaded correctly.

   Caution

   A server restart is required for resources containing streams such as Vehicle, Map, and Ped. Simply restarting the script is not sufficient for some scripts to function properly.

Changelog Information

The changelog contains version and current version information in the first section. Then, the changes made with the update are listed.
At the bottom, there are files that have been modified.

File change details

• fxmanifest.lua : It only indicates that the fxmanifest.lua file has changed.
• html/* : Indicates that the entire html folder has been changed.
• client/main.lua : Indicates that only the main.lua file inside the client folder has been changed.
