Retro Weather

This script uses standard FiveM resource installation.

Quick Installation

1. Place rs_weather in your resources folder.
2. Ensure it in server.cfg:

ensure rs_weather

3. Configure admin access (see below).
4. Remove other weather sync resources.
5. Restart server.

Configure Admin Access

rs_weather uses Config.AdminAcePermission (default: rsweather.admin).

Add your FiveM identifier as an admin principal in server.cfg, then grant that principal the weather ACE:

add_principal identifier.fivem:YOUR_FIVEM_ID group.rsweatheradmin
add_ace group.rsweatheradmin rsweather.admin allow

Replace YOUR_FIVEM_ID with your actual FiveM identifier.

Note

Current server/sv_permissions.lua in this build is a testing stub that allows all. For production, implement real permission checks and keep the ACE setup above.

Remove Other Weather Sync

Keep only one weather authority active.

QBOX

Disable/remove Renewed-Weathersync.

QBCore

1. Disable/remove qb-weathersync.
2. Open qb-apartments/fxmanifest.lua and qb-houses/fxmanifest.lua.
3. In each dependencies block, remove 'qb-weathersync'.

Verify Installation

1. Run rsweatheradmin.
2. Force a weather type in a zone.
3. Confirm weather/time no longer snap back from another script.
